  • Participating and representing Quality at key milestones within the NPI cycle
  • Preparation and coordinating FAI and source inspections, and follow up of actions
  • Liaison with key stakeholders in NPI programmes including OEM and customer representatives
  • Managing OEM on-line quality related systems and portals
  • Follow up on issues and improvements from key milestone gate reviews
  • Developing product quality standards by programme
  • Analysing data and implementing process and product improvements
  • Working with value stream Quality Engineers to develop improvement plans Analysing related customer and OEM data and identifying improvements
  • Investigating related customer complaints by programme
  • Assisting with ensuring all requirements are understood and embedded in processes
  • Assisting with training and awareness in quality standards
  • Participate in DFMEA and PFMEA reviews and Design for Manufacture initiatives

Required Skills:

  • Third level qualification in a related engineering discipline
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a quality engineering position within manufacturing
  • Experience in dealing with Airbus and or Boeing Supplier Quality Systems
  • Ability to be proactive and act in a professional manner to influence all key stakeholders
  • The ability to communicate with customers, authorities and all levels within the company
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently, and earn the trust of stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail, and analysis of data and reporting
  • Possess strong computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making
  • Proficient in the use of quality tools and techniques
  • The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Willing to work additional hours as necessary, including international travel

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in aircraft interiors
  • Six sigma green belt certification
  • Working knowledge of EASA Part 21Subpart G regulatory requirements
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 rev D standard
